“IT’S NOT WHAT WE BUILD; IT’S HOW WE BUILD IT…….”
How we build a building, especially in the case of a house of worship or Christian school is vitally important, but honoring God during the process of construction is critical. Buildings last for decades, but our actions and our relationships echo through eternity.
Hammen Contracting, Inc. was launched out of a passionate desire on the part of President and Founder, Robert M. Hammen, to continue his career by building high quality, cost effective, and energy efficient houses of worship and Christian schools. We are pleased to have been selected in December of 2007 as the sole authorized Maryland builder for the national Building God's Way program headquartered in Ogden, Utah, but also welcome non-BGW projects and are currently working with several other architects on church projects in this region.
Well known and respected in this area, Bob Hammen brings 45 years of construction experience in the Baltimore-Washington region with experience ranging from completion of over 25 public school projects, major hospital and industrial construction to the responsibility for $50 million of BGW projects in the last six years as a Construction Manager or General Contractor in the BGW program. Hammen Contracting has very experienced site superintendents and staff who share our company's commitment and philosophy and recognize the special privilege and responsibility of building houses of worship and Christian schools.
“Hammen Contracting has proven to be one of the finest construction companies we work with nationwide,” says Dan Cook, founder of Building God’s Way. "You will never be sorry to have Hammen Contracting as your construction partner."
